Can Sociedad use home advantage?

With away goals no longer a factor in determining who goes through, this tie is all square after the first leg ended 2-2 in Germany last week.

Both teams scored in that fixture, as they have in two of Sociedad’s three home European outings this season, a pair of 1-1 draws against Monaco and Sturm Graz.

Their defence remains a cause for concern though. The German outfit have kept just four clean sheets in 16 matches on their travels, of which just one has come in Europe.

Both teams have scored in four of their last five on the road, with the same statistic applying when throwing in home games too, suggesting there should be plenty of final third action in this one.

I predict both teams will score in this match, and I think RB Leipzig will sneak through, selecting a 2-1 victory to the German side for a correct score prediction.
