Rennes vs Lorient Predictions

Rennes have been in fine form going forward at home this season, scoring 19 goals in nine games, and they should be backed to get the better of Lorient in a Breton derby on Saturday.

They are six places above Lorient in the table, with nine points separating the two teams. The hosts are sixth having won eight, drawn seven and lost three of their 18 games this season, while Lorient are 12th with five wins, seven draws and six defeats.

The hosts are hitting their stride at home. Rennes have lost just one of their last ten home games in Ligue 1 and have won three of their last four.

Rennes may be able to edge out Lorient in a high-scoring game, with a 2-1 home win the correct-score pick. Eleven of their 18 league matches this season have produced three or more goals.
