Scotland embark on a new era under Sebastien Pocognoli when they head to Slovenia in the Nations League on Saturday and they have a chance to kick off his tenure with a win.
After a dismal World Cup, Steve Clarke called time on his stint in charge of Scotland and this is a new-look squad assembled by Pocognoli with seven uncapped players selected.

The team should be looking to impress their new manager and they look capable of beating a fairly average Slovenia team. The hosts have just one win in their last 10 games, while Scotland have picked up some decent results on their travels in recent times as they won in Greece and Poland during the last Nations League cycle.

Slovenia have failed to score in their last two competitive home games and Scotland’s last two wins have come to nil so the visitors can keep a clean sheet and a 2-0 Tartan Army win has a chance.
