      Rotherham vs QPR Predictions

Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink is still waiting for his first win as QPR boss although he came desperately close in midweek at Blackburn. Leroy Fer had put Rangers ahead and the Londoners were leading going into the final 10 minutes but Hope Akpan equalised late on for Rovers and Hasselbaink remains winless in 8 outings in charge of the club.

They are now 13 points off the play-off places and any hopes of an immediate return to the Premier League are as good as over already it would seem. Hasselbaink will be desperate for a win of any sorts just get things going but Rotherham is a tough place to go looking for 3 points at the moment and there could be more frustration for the Londoners here.

Rotherham were written off as relegation certainties earlier in the season but Neil Redfearn is doing a good job and some positive recent results have seen them move out of the relegation zone. They are playing much better football than all of the sides below them right now and their 3 point lead on the bottom 3 could well grow further this weekend.

The Millers have won 4 of their last 5 home games and they’ve beaten two top six sides in that run so they won’t fear QPR by any means. Given that Rotherham are at home and in much better form, it’s odd to see QPR as slight favourites here and backing Rotherham with a 0.0 Asian Handicap at 2.000 is surely worth a punt.

All of those home wins were to nil and Rotherham scored 2 or more goals in each of them so they have been no flukes and consider backing another 2-0 Rotherham win here at 11/1.
