Schalke vs Eintracht Frankfurt Betting Tips

Schalke’s 1-0 victory away to Stuttgart on Sunday saw their winning streak in all competitions stretch to three, and they have only lost once this season.

This 3-0 loss to Wolfsburg at the end of August makes it one loss, five wins, and a draw in all competitions this season.

This puts them in 4^th position in the Bundesliga with ten points from their opening five Bundesliga matches, and a positive start in both the DFP Pokal and the Champions League will have their confidence sky high.

Eintracht Frankfurt have also only lost once this season, coincidentally also against Wolfsburg in a 2-1 defeat away from home.

Three wins and two draws make up their six competitive results this season, with their goalless draw away at Hamburger on Saturday being their most recent result.

Before this they had managed an impressive 6-2 win over Cologne and a 4-1 humbling of the out of form Stuttgart.

This leaves them in 8^th position in the league, but their positive performances this season will have their fans looking hopefully towards European qualification.

Results have been fairly even between these sides in recent times. Eintracht Frankfurt won the last meeting between the two, with a draw at Schalke coming before that. Previous to that they had lost back to back games at Schalke, drawing one and losing one at home.

Both teams have been involved in high scoring games recently, with four of Frankfurt’s six games ending in over 2.5 goals and five of Schalke’s seven matches seeing three of more goals. However, with both teams playing out low scoring matches at the weekend I don’t think odds of 8/15 for Over 2.5 Goals look very good at all.

But with Schalke’s form so far this season, I do think they’ll get the victory thanks to the home advantage, and odds of 4/5 for this outcome do look like good value, and a 2-0 win at 9/1 is worth a punt too.
