Scotland and Both Teams To Score

Reason for tip

Scotland have won seven of their last 10 home games and should be able to wrap up their Euro 2024 prep with victory over Finland, who have three defeats in their last four trips. Clean sheets have been an issue for Steve Clarke’s men of late, with just one in their last eight games, and the Finns have scored in six consecutive fixtures so a home win with goals at both ends appeals.

Scotland 2-1

Reason for tip

Scotland have scored at least twice in seven of their last 10 home games and exactly twice in five of those. A Finland consolation effort is expected so take a chance on a 2-1 home win.

Che Adams To Score Anytime

Reason for tip

Che Adams scored in a 25 minute cameo against Gibraltar and should get some game time here as Scotland prepare to face Euro 2024 hosts Germany, so the Southampton forward looks a candidate for a goal.

Scotland vs Finland Predictions

  • Scotland have won seven of their last 10 home games.
  • Scotland have just one clean sheet in their last eight overall.
  • Finland have scored in each of their last six games.

Scotland step up Euro 2024 prep

Scotland ended a seven-game winless run by beating minnows Gibraltar last time out and now take on Finland in their final warm-up fixture before they face hosts Germany at Euro 2024.

The Scots perhaps underwhelmed against Gibraltar as they claimed a 2-0 win but should raise their levels against a higher standard of opposition here.

Steve Clarke’s side are generally very good at home and they have won seven of their last 10 home fixtures. Finland have three defeats in their last four away but they have only failed to score in one of their last seven road games and have managed a goal in each of their last six overall (W3, L3), so a home win with goals at both ends looks a good starting point.

Clarke may opt to tinker with his side in-game here to try and get minutes for as many players as possible before Euro 2024 gets underway. Che Adams should be handed a chance here after scoring in a 25 minute cameo against Gibraltar and he appeals as a candidate for a goal.

A 2-1 win for Scotland is the correct score pick as they have scored at least twice in seven of their last 10 home games and exactly twice in five of those, while Finland average exactly one goal per-game across their last 10 games away from home.
