Sevilla desperate for a win

It’s been a terrible start to the season for Sevilla, compounded further by a 2-0 defeat to Atletico Madrid at the weekend that extended their winless run to three matches.

Julen Lopetegui’s side have now picked up just one victory in nine outings this campaign, with five of those fixtures ending in defeat, including a 4-0 Champions League hammering at home to Manchester City.

Indeed, they have now lost three successive outings at Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan in this competition, while their recent UCL record reads just one win in ten.

Dortmund looking to bounce back

Things have not all been rosy for Borussia Dortmund of late, given they have lost three of their last four after a 3-2 reversal at the hands of Cologne on Saturday.

Edin Terzić’s side have still picked up seven victories in eleven outings this season though, including a 3-0 dismantling of Copenhagen in this competition.

Away from home they have lost three in a row, but equally are on a run of four wins in seven, so there have been plenty of ups and downs already.
