Brann can claim a crucial three points

Brann sit rock bottom of the Norwegian Eliteserian with just five points from 12 games ahead of the visit of fellow strugglers Tromso on Saturday.

Brann look in real danger of dropping out of Norway’s top flight for just the second time in the club’s history but the game against Tromso does appear to be a real opportunity to put some much needed points on the board.

Tromso have lost three of their last four games and have gone three games without a goal.  

The Gutan have lost their last two away games, both of which were 3-0 defeats, and have conceded 20 goals in 11 games so far.

Brann lost their first two home games but have managed four points from the last nine available.  The Bergen outfit were unlucky not to take maximum points against a strong Lillestrom side in their last home assignment as they conceded a late equaliser, and we feel this fixtures looks a real chance for Brann to claim just a second win of the season.

Brann’s only home success this season was accompanied by a clean sheet and as Tromso have failed to score in all three of their away losses we feel a 2-0 win for the hosts looks a good option in the correct score market.
