The hosts have been on the decline in recent years and now find themselves outside the FIFA top 50 and so it’s no surprise to see them come into this encounter without a win across their last five matches. Their last game in November saw them draw 0-0 with Chile, but the four fixtures prior to that saw both teams hit the back of the net. The Falcons have emerged victorious in each of their previous four Euro qualification openers and they’ll feel confident of at least hitting the back of the net here.

Luxembourg are still in the hunt for a maiden appearance in a major tournament and they’ll try once again here. They have proven to be tough to beat and come into this clash having suffered defeat just once across their last eight outings.
