Spartak Trnava vs Fenerbahce Predictions

Spartak Trnava can’t qualify from Group D heading into the final round of fixtures in the Europa League on Thursday, but the hosts do have pride to play for as their current third place position is under threat. Fenerbahce sit five points behind group winners Zagreb, but will finish in second place and qualify for the knockout stage of the Europa League this season.

Spartak Trnava claimed a 3-1 win over Trenčín at the weekend and leapfrogged their opponents in the Super Liga table. Neither side head into the game in the best of form, but Fenerbahce have performed much better than their hosts in Europe this season. the visitors have won two, drawn two and lost two of their last six in all competitions, while Spartak Trnava have lost three, drawn one and won two of their last six. Spartak Trnava need the points more than Fenerbahce if they are interested in claiming third place in Group D, but the visitors need to make winning a habit of theirs, and starting on Thursday would be a great idea.
