Sporting can see off travel sick Charlotte

Bookmakers are struggling to find a favourite in the clash between Sporting Kansas City and Charlotte at Sporting Park in the early hours of Thursday morning, but it is the home team who look like the value bet.

Sporting KC are down in 13th spot in the Western Conference and Charlotte sit ninth in the East with their 8-1-9 record showing they are usually all or nothing. On the road more often than not it is nothing with seven defeats from ten trips.

It would be no surprise to see Sporting Kansas City score, having netted at least twice in four of their last six MLS games. They have also scored in four consecutive matches, albeit the last of those was a 4-2 loss to Dallas.

All of those four games went over 2.5 goals and a 2-1 home win looks the best bet.
