In-form Forfar fancied to land on scoresheet

Forfar have been in rock solid form to start the new seasons, culminating in their 3-1 win over Arbroath last time out.  The Sky Blues have now won six in a row and the majority have been entertaining affairs, with four of the last five going over 2.5 goals.

They should be able to cause some issues for Premiership St Mirren, who lost their opening match of the campaign to League One side Montrose. Forfar subsequently beat those opponents 2-1 so are clearly in decent nick and shouldn’t be underestimated by the Saints.

Both teams are fancied to get on the scoresheet in this matchup.

Saints’ class should tell

Despite Forfar having some success recently, they are still a League Two side facing a Premiership opponent and St Mirren put four past Arbroath recently. The Saints will want to be sharp for their first league game of the season against Hibs so will be sharp and are fancied to record a 3-1 victory to send their support home happy.
