Stourbridge vs Whitehawk Predictions
Northern Premier League side Stourbridge might have been slightly lucky in the end to earn this replay – if the referee had allowed just one or two seconds longer then Whitehawk would’ve been going through courtesy of a dramatic late winner; however, the whistle had gone before the ball reached the net and so the two teams will go head-to-head once again.
From a betting point of view, this isn’t the easiest to call. Whitehawk are from the higher division but they didn’t exactly dominate the initial match and Stourbridge will certainly fancy themselves in front of a home crowd. At odds of 11/10, ‘Over 2.5 Goals & Both Teams to Score’ looks the way to go.
The first leg proved that both teams are capable of creating opportunities against each other and there’s no reason to think this will change here.
In addition, both teams have found the net in four of Stourbridge’s last five, as well as in four of Whitehawk’s last five. On top of this, more than three goals were scored in four of the last five for both of these sides. Scoring goals seems to come relatively easy, but preventing them at the other end doesn’t appear to be a particular strength of either.
The hosts did plenty of attacking in the first match and showed absolutely no fear. They’re expected to do just the same now in front of a home crowd and it would be a surprise if they weren’t to find the net. At the same time, though, Whitehawk, being from a higher standing in English football, should also be capable of fashioning a number of chances. All in all, goals are expected all-round in this FA Cup tie.
