Tromso can thrive on the road

Tromso are worth backing to get another away win when they visit Stromsgodset on Sunday. They have won their last four Eliteserien road games and have only lost one of their last six away matches against Stromsgodset.

They are third in the Eliteserien, having won eight and lost three of their 12 games this season, while Stromsgodset are 15th with two wins and ten defeats. The visitors are 12 places and 19 points above the hosts.

Tromso maintained their winning run last weekend, beating Molde with a second-half goal. They have won seven of the ten games in which they’ve scored first this season (70%) and have now opened the scoring in their last five matches. Tromso didn’t allow Molde a single shot on target.

Stromsgodset’s six home games this season have all ended in defeat and they are on a six-game losing streak at home in the league.
They have been disappointing defensively at home this season, conceding 13 goals in six games in the Eliteserien – an average of 2.17 goals per game. They have yet to keep a clean sheet at Marienlyst Stadion this season.

The hosts’ struggles in front of goal are a major concern. Stromsgodset have now gone four games without scoring, losing five of their last six matches without finding the net. They have failed to score in three consecutive home games.
