Draw 0-0

Reason for tip

Leeds have failed to score in their last two away Championship matches and have drawn two of their seven away league games 0-0 this term. Another goalless game could be on the cards against a Swansea side that beat Watford 1-0 at their place recently.

Swansea City vs Leeds Predictions

  • Fewer than two goals have been scored in four of Swansea’s last five home league games
  • Fewer than two goals have been scored in three of Leeds’ seven away league matches this season
  • Leeds have failed to score in their last two away Championship matches

Goals at a premium in South Wales

Swansea are Leeds are not likely to produce many goals when they clash in South Wales on Sunday. The two teams with the highest average share of possession in the Championship have struggled to turn their dominance of the ball into goals in their respective home and away games.

On the face of it, Swansea are in good form. Luke Williams’ side have won two of their last three home games and beat sixth-placed Watford 1-0 at Swansea.com Stadium recently.

Leeds, meanwhile, are third in the table and only two points off the top but their superb home form hides a multitude of away sins.

Farke’s men have iffy away form

Daniel Farke’s men have failed to win five of their seven away Championship matches – hardly promotion form – and lost 1-0 at Millwall last time they ventured outside of fortress Elland Road.

They have failed to find the back of the net in their last two away Championship matches, despite enjoying 67% possession at Bristol City and 75% of the ball at The Den.

Opposing goals should be the way to go this weekend with fewer than two scored in four of Swansea’s last five home league games.  Three of Leeds’ seven away league matches this season have also fallen short of 1.5 goals, with under that mark available at good odds.
