Swansea vs Everton Betting Tips

Swansea couldn’t get past an invigorated Watford defence last weekend, and with the home side finding the back of the net for the first time since the opening day of the season we saw Swansea lose for the first time.

This was a far cry from the Swansea side we saw earning a deserved three points against Manchester United the weekend before, but I don’t think there is much cause for concern at this stage.

They have won all three of their home games in all competitions this season, with Newcastle, York City, and Manchester United all falling victim to their solid back line and dynamic trio up front.

Everton disappointing in their opening game of the season. They twice fell behind to the newly promoted Watford at Goodison Park, but fortunately for them came away with a draw.

They have definitely picked up their game since then though, winning three of their five games in all competition and only losing to Manchester City.

Their attacking displays have been the driving force behind their success, with Romelu Lukaku and Ross Barkley each getting two Premier League goals this season and Steven Naismith scoring a hat trick from the bench against Chelsea last weekend.

This Naismith hat trick helped Everton towards an impressive 3-1 victory over the stumbling champions, and with a confidence booster like that I can see them continuing to attack effectively.

They have averaged nearly three goals per game in all competitions this season, and with Swansea averaging two goals per game I can see this one being a high scoring affair.

Everton are missing a number of key players through injury though, with Brian Oviedo, Leighton Baines, Stephen Pienaar, Tom Cleverley, Darron Gibson, and Muhamed Besic all expected to be sidelined.
