Sweden vs Kosovo Predictions
- Sweden have won their last seven home internationals but have conceded a goal in their last three.
- Both teams have scored in the hosts’ last five matches.
- Kosovo have scored in all but one of their last eight outings, including three of their last four qualifiers.
Swedes could concede again in Solna
Sweden should bounce back from their 2-1 defeat in Greece last time out when they square off against Kosovo on Saturday, though we also fancy both teams to strike in Solna.
The Swedes were comprehensive 3-0 winners in March’s reverse fixture in Pristina, and we can only see this contest ending one way with Jan Andersson’s side winning their last seven home internationals.
Sweden have been in decent form overall throughout the past year or so with nine wins from their last 12 outings, including three victories from four in Group B. Those results mean they’re bang in contention for Qatar 2022 despite their September disappointment in Athens, though they can’t afford any slip up here with the Greeks laid up just three points behind them.
With Kosovo losing three from five in the campaign and seven of their last 11 on their travels, another cosy success is on the cards for Sweden, however adding both teams to score into the mix can markedly boost the hosts’ price in the 1X2 market.
The Swedes have conceded in their last three at home, while both teams have registered in their last five matches. With Kosovo netting in seven of their last eight games since that 3-0 loss to their opponents in the reverse, the 9/4 for a Swedish success and both teams to score looks huge.
Andersson’s side are taken to triumph by a couple of goals in though, so a 3-1result is our correct score pick for Saturday’s action in Solna.
