Swindon vs Oldham Predictions

Swindon have enjoyed success in three of their last four home games in League Two and they should be backed to get the victory against Oldham on Saturday.

They are fourth in League Two, 12 places and 17 points above Oldham, with 16 wins from their 29 games this season. The visitors sit in 16th with eight wins, eight defeats and 11 draws.

Swindon maintained their winning habit last time, edging a tightly contested game 1-0 against Harrogate Town on Tuesday. They had chances to win by more than one goal and the result means that, this season, they have won eight of the nine matches in which they have been priced odds-on.

Swindon have been in prolific form going forward, scoring two or more goals in 17 of their 29 League Two games this season. They have also netted in nine of their last ten matches, including a 3-1 victory over Barrow last weekend.

Oldham have sustained two successive League Two reverses.

They have been finding it hard to keep out their opponents lately, failing to keep a clean sheet in nine of their last ten League Two games. They have now gone five games without recording a shutout.

Swindon may be able to edge out Oldham in a close game, with a 2-1 home win the correct-score pick. Four of Swindon’s last five League Two games have featured over 2.5 goals and they have won the last two meetings with Oldham by the odd goal.
