Swindon vs Peterborough Predictions
After enduring an up and down first half of the season, Swindon might just have found some consistency of late. The hosts are unbeaten in their last three and secured an unlikely win away at Bolton last time out. On the other hand, Peterborough, who looked like they may push for the play-offs recently, have dropped off somewhat and are now without a win in four league games, losing 5-1 last time out at Bury.
One thing that these two teams share is an ability to concede with great regularity. Both favour an attacking style of play. While this may mean they create their share of chances, it is often their undoing at the other end, especially in Peterborough’s case. With this in mind, ‘Both Teams to Score’ is a bet that’s hard to avoid here.
The visitors have scored in all but two of their 12 away matches, but have also kept just three clean sheets on their travels. Swindon are in a similar position at home. The hosts have scored in all but three of their 13 home matches, but have kept six clean sheets. However, despite keeping a reasonably high percentage of clean sheets at home, Peterborough, who are one of the league’s most attacking teams, should have the quality to break through.
Coming into this match, the fact that both teams have scored in each of Peterborough’s last five on the road, and in three of the last five Swindon home matches, bode well.
All things considered, it’s not easy to fancy either team from a win perspective, but there’s plenty of reason to think both can profit going forward and thus ‘Both Teams to Score’ is the way to go.
