BK Hacken and Both Teams To Score

Reason for tip

Hacken have won three straight games including their 3-1 victory over TNS last week, with the visitors coming into this clash with an edge as they sit top of the Swedish top-flight after playing 16 games. TNS returned to competitive action for the first time in three months in last week’s defeat and the Welsh champions had lost all three preseason games before that. However, the visitors have gone four games without a clean sheet and TNS have scored in five of their last six at home in this competition.

BK Hacken 2-1

Reason for tip

Hacken have hit 11 goals across their last four games and they have scored at least twice in 10 of their last 11 competitive games. TNS have lost all their preseason games and they were handly beaten by the Swedish league leaders, so back the visitors to claim a 2-1 victory.

TNS vs BK Hacken Predictions

  • Hacken have won three straight games, including a 3-1 first leg victory over TNS
  • The hosts have scored in five of their last six home games in this competition
  • The visitors have scored 11 times across their last four matches, while failing to keep a clean sheet

Hacken to build on dominant win

Swedish side Hacken have the edge as they head to The New Saints for this Champions League qualifying second leg clash on Tuesday. The Swedish Allsvenskan leaders won the opening clash a week ago, taking a 3-1 lead into the second leg. Now they’re bound for the UK as favourites to win the second leg too.

There’s a clear gap in terms of preparation between the sides, with Hacken in the middle of their domestic season. They are top of the table through 16 games, claiming a 4-2 win over Brommapojkarna at the weekend. Meanwhile, TNS went three months between competitive games ahead of the first leg before that humbling away defeat.

TNS to be outclassed

The hosts have lost all three preseason friendlies they played ahead of the clash with Hacken, going down to Linfield, Hamilton and Cardiff City. They face a side who are in fantastic condition and excellent scoring form, with the visitors hitting 11 goals across their last four games.

However, Hacken have conceded in each of those classes and they head to a TNS side who have scored in five of their last six home Champions League games. The hosts should be able to get on the scoresheet, so back Hacken to win and both teams to score.
