      Torino vs Frosinone Predictions

Italian Serie A has reached its halfway point and the 2015/16 season probably hasn’t gone quite as well as planned for Torino, who competed hard for a Europa League place and finished comfortably in the top half of the table.

A quick look at their squad and some of their results suggests that relegation remains only a remote possibility, however, they do enter the second half of the season in 14th place, seven points clear of the relegation zone. They can make that margin a little more comfortable on Saturday afternoon when they play host to third from bottom Frosinone.

Frosinone suffered a disappointing 5-1 home defeat in their second game in 2016, they’d started the new year with an at least somewhat promising 2-2 draw against Sassuolo. Scoring goals hasn’t been a problem through most of the season for Frosinone, but conceding a few too many and completing ever-important results has been a more serious issue. They’re four points adrift from Genoa in the relegation zone and there is of course the danger of the bottom three slipping out of the competitive race.

      Three Reasons for Betting Tips

      1. Frosinone goal-scoring

It was a demolition job last week, but Torino are not as clinical and don’t possess the same outstanding quality as Napoli. They are significantly more fallible and we’re confident that this will show. Look for Frosinone to put together another solid performance away from home and keep this game close at the very least.

      2. Torino lack of true goal scoring

Frosinone will surely concede because they are so poor defensively, however, Torino aren’t a high quality attacking football team stylistically and we’re not convinced that they’ll rack goals up in an effective manner.

      3. Lack of form for both teams

Neither club has shown too much form in recent weeks, though there is the break to take into account of course and we wouldn’t be surprised if this turned into a pretty scratchy game of football.
