      Tottenham Hotspur vs Leicester Predictions

Leicester visited White Hart Lane on Sunday afternoon, and now they face another trip to London in their second of three matches against Tottenham Hotspur in under ten days.

This is down to the 2-2 draw that was played out on Sunday, resulting in an FA Cup Replay later in the month.

Leicester managed to break their scoring duck on Sunday when they netted two against Spurs, with Okasaki and Wasilewski scoring for Leicester to nullify Christian Eriksen’s opener before Harry Kane netted a last minute penalty to tie the game.

This did make it four games without a win for Leicester though, with a 1-0 defeat to Liverpool being followed by three straight draws.

Tottenham Hotspur made it five games unbeaten for Mauricio Pocchettino’s side, with three wins being followed by back to back draws.

In fact, Spurs have made themselves incredibly hard to beat this season. They have only lost one of their last 15 matches in all competitions, with nine of those games ending in victory for the top four hopefuls.

This has taken them to their fabled 4th spot in the Premier League, and a win on Wednesday could take them up into 3rd ahead of Manchester City. Leicester, meanwhile, could regain the top spot from Arsenal or see themselves drop being Man City should they win.

Both of these sides are excellent going forward when they want to be, and I’m expecting goals in this game. Spurs have scored in all but one of their last 16 matches in all competitions, and the have seen both sides hit the back of the net on 12 occasions.

Leicester’s two goals against Spurs on Sunday will have revived them after three scoreless matches. Before this mini drought they had netted in every match this season.

This makes odds of 8/11 for Both Teams to Score look very favourable, so I’m going for that along with a 2-1 Spurs win at 8/1.
