Tottenham Hotspur vs Pacos Ferreira Predictions

• There have been under 2.5 goals scored in all three of Tottenham’s games so far this season
• Pacos Ferreira have scored just two goals in their last four games
• Spurs are likely to name a weakened team

Goals unlikely as Spurs entertain Pacos Ferreira

It is probably fair to say Tottenham aren’t taking the Europa Conference League too seriously after an inexperienced side lost 1-0 in the first leg of their qualifier to Pacos Ferreira in Portugal.

With the tie still finely balanced, there is a chance boss Nuno Espirito Santo could opt to pick a few more regulars on Thursday but personally I’m expecting another starting XI with youngsters and fringe men.

Aside from the first leg win, Pacos Ferreira have been in poor form and have lost three of their last four games.  The Portuguese outfit weren’t necessarily totally dominant in the first leg and they are likely to adopt a defensive approach in London on Thursday as they look to hold on to their lead.

In terms of a result this tie is hard to call but I do think goals will be at a premium here and as such under 2.5 goals appeals.  There have been just three goals scored in total in Spurs’ three fixtures so far, while Pacos Ferreira have only scored twice in their last four games and a 0-0 result is my correct score tip.
