    Tip Reasoning

Tottenham Hotspur didn’t really turn up at the weekend as they lost 1-0 in a largely uneventful clash with Manchester United at Old Trafford. This sort of performance will have been a big disappointment to Mauricio Pocchettino after seeing his side beat CSKA Moscow and Swansea in excellent performances recently.

However, this is by no means the first time Spurs have struggled away from home against big sides. They have already lost on the road to Liverpool, Cheseal, and now Manchester United.

Fortunately for them their home form has been much more successful, with them winning five and drawing two of their Premier League games at White Hart Lane this season. They even managed to perform to a decent standard when Harry Kane was injured, but now he’s back in action they look even better. The striker has notched seven goals in ten league appearances, and with five of those coming at White Hart Lane he looks an excellent choice for our anytime goalscorer predictions.

This prediction is made even firmer by the fact that Hull hold the worst defence in the Premier League, having conceded 32 goals in their 15 matches so far. Three of these came in their 3-3 draw with Crystal Palace at the weekend, a result which made it five games without a win in normal time.

Predictably, things get even worse for Hull away from home. They have lost five on the bounce in the Premier League now and their only victory of the season came on the opening day against Swansea.

Their last five away days have seen them concede 16 goals and score just two, including a 6-1 hammering at the hands of Bournemouth. Spurs will certainly feel they have the beating of Hull’s defence here.

For this reason Spurs are huge favourites for this game. It’s no surprise either, considering their last home match resulted in them hammering Swansea 5-0. The hosts have the ability going forward to punish Hull, and the visitors awful offensive record away from home could definitely result in a clean sheet for Spurs. I’m backing a Tottenham -1.5 Asian Handicap Win at 1.700 and also going for a 3-0 correct score predictions at 7/1.
