The top-flight charge goes on for Toulouse

The relegation play-off of 2020/21 seems like a million miles away for Toulouse now, who have taken the disappointment of that fateful night and ran with it to storm clear at the top of the Ligue 2 table.

The hosts have lost just twice all season and are eyeing an immediate top-flight promotion, without the need of a play-off. No side can match their scoring prowess, with a return of 58 goals averaging out to a sizeable 2.2 per-match.

At the time of writing, Toulouse had scored in both halves at least five more times than any other side in Ligue 2, which shouldn’t be too much of a big ask against a relegation-threatened Dunkerque.

The Dunkerque resurgence could end here

While Dunkerque have won three of their last four league games to give themselves an opportunity to claw their way out of danger soon, two of those victories were against fellow bottom-half opponents and this is arguably the toughest assignment they will face all season.

As for the correct score, I am going for a 3-0 Toulouse success. They have scored 12 goals across the last three home league games and that kind of scoring form simply cannot be ignored.
