Toulouse Double Chance (Win or Draw)

      Reason for tip

Monaco have won just one of their last 11 away games in all competitions and their struggles on the road could be set to continue against a Toulouse side who have been solid recently, scoring eight goals in their last two league matches.

      Draw 2-2

      Reason for tip

Monaco’s last nine games in the league have all produced more than 2.5 goals and a repeat of that looks likely, take a 2-2 draw for correct score purposes.

      Toulouse vs Monaco Predictions

      • Monaco have one win in their last 11 away games in all competitions
      • Three of Toulouse’s last four Ligue 1 games have produced four goals or more
      • Four of Toulouse’s last five Ligue 1 home games have seen both teams score

      Monaco struggling on the road

Monaco have struggled away from home recently, winning just one of their last 11 road trips in all competitions, and they may come up short against Toulouse in this clash.

The hosts have had a solid league campaign and retain an outside chance of sneaking European qualification, they are six points behind sixth-placed Lyon after winning back-to-back away games against Le Havre and Angers, scoring eight goals in the process.

They were only narrowly beaten 1-0 by PSG before that so are clearly in decent nick and could frustrate a Monaco side who have struggled for consistency.

      Hosts could frustrate opponents

The away side were knocked out of the Champions League by Benfica and followed that with a 2-1 defeat at the hands of Lille before Mika Biereth scored his third hat-trick of the campaign against Reims last time out.

The home side will have to keep a keen eye on the forward, who was playing for Motherwell just over a year ago, but they have picked up some solid results recently, holding Lyon and Nice to stalemates.

Side with Toulouse or draw double chance with the poor-travelling visitors hard to trust.

Monaco’s last nine Ligue 1 matches and four of Toulouse’s last six have gone over 2.5 goals so a 2-2 draw is the correct score selection.
