Tunisia vs Cameroon Predictions
Tunisia won their last match at home 1-0 in the African Nations Championship against Libya, while Cameroon were edged out of a five-goal thriller last time out in the Africa Cup of Nations by Nigeria 3-2.
All of the stats suggest that a double chance bet on the visitors Cameroon is the best way to go this Saturday and we’ve backed this International Friendly to end in a 0-0 draw.
Cameroon haven’t lost any of their last six matches against Tunisia, dating all the way back t0 2000, and beat Saturday’s hosts 1-0 when they last clashed in 2017. Under 2.5 goals were produced in two of the last three meetings between the pair, and both of those games were hosted by Tunisia. Cameroon have kept three clean sheets in their last six matches against Tunisia, which includes their last two visits to North Africa, and all of the above provides plenty of reasons to back Cameroon with a double chance bet this weekend.
The form of both countries heading into Saturday’s match only adds weight to our prediction, as Tunisia have lost three of their last six international matches, while Cameroon have only lost one of their last six. The visitors have drawn three of their last five games, the most recent two ended goalless against Benin and Ghana, and Cameroon have only conceded two goals in their last four internationals, which is why we’re expecting a low-scoring game this weekend.
In fact, both teams defensive records heading into Saturday’s clash are very good and we back our prediction of a 0-0 draw, as Tunisia have kept three clean sheets in their last six internationals and Cameroon have kept four clean sheets in their last six attempts, so this game looks likely to be tight and tense throughout the ninety minutes.
We’re confident that a double chance bet on Cameroon will payout this weekend and have predicted a final scoreline of 0-0. The visitors have a fantastic record against Tunisia and simply love playing against them but the hosts have won two of their last three home games and won’t prove easy to beat. The only reason we haven’t backed an outright draw on Saturday is due to Cameroon’s record against their guests, and the double chance bet allows for a Cameroon victory as well as the draw.
