The Dutch outfit have been on the receiving end of some heavy Eredivisie defeats recently, going down 5-0 to PSV Eindhoven and 3-0 to FC Twente, and post a negative goal difference despite sitting seventh in their domestic league as the run-in approaches.

Italian outfit can seize the initiative in first leg

Vitesse have also won just five of their 12 home matches in their domestic league, and with Mourinho determined to take this competition seriously as Roma hunt their first trophy since 2008, an away win looks to be on the cards.

However, Vitesse have not failed to score in 12 Conference League matches this term, including qualifiers, and Roma have seen both teams score in eight of their last 13. Therefore, a 2-1 away win looks to be a decent correct score prediction.
