Wycombe couldn’t extend their winning run in the week, but they did extend their unbeaten run by drawing 2-2 away with Blackpool. At what is not an easy ground to visit, the Chairboys did reasonably well and will likely come back to their own ground feeling confident. Gareth Ainsworth’s men have showed a real grittiness in recent weeks, so they’ll be up for the fight on Saturday, that’s for sure.

As is almost always the case, Wycombe dug deep and battled hard at Bloomfield Road on Tuesday evening, though it must be said that they were fortunate to come away with a draw. Blackpool dominated in terms of attacking efforts, while they also created considerably more than the Chairboys.

They did have to weather the storm on their travels during the week, but Wycombe have been very sturdy at home this season. Gareth Ainsworth’s side have lost just two of their last ten at home. Of the other eight, Wycombe have won eight. They’ve not always played an attractive game, while they’ve had their backs to the wall at times, but it’s fair to say that Chairboys have become grinding out results in front of their own fans, while they’re also capable of outplaying sides, as they showed when bettering Plymouth in all areas last weekend.

In contrast, Bradford have been anything but sturdy on their travels. The Bantams have improved in recent times and are now much more equipped to hurt teams going forward, but the fact remains that they’re an easy side to score against. They conceded three goals last time out, while they’ve now shipped 11 goals in their last four matches. Moreover, they’ve kept just a single clean sheet in their last nine on the road and have conceded a worrying total of 20 goals during that time. They’ve conceded three or more in five of those nine, which is particularly concerning.

As they’re shipping an average of 1.93 goals and 2.27 expected goals on their travels, it’s fair to say that Bradford are very easy to get at on their travels, so this is a good opportunity for Wycombe to continue moving in the right direction.

At the prices, the bet that stands out is ‘Wycombe to Score Over 1.5 Goals’. Wycombe are not the most menacing side going forward, but they can take advantage of poor defending. What’s more, Bradford defensive deficiencies have been there for all to see this season, so much so that the hosts will not be without multiples scoring chances. If they can be as clinical as they were during the week, then the hosts should have no problem scoring goals against one of League One’s leakiest back-lines on Saturday afternoon.
