Crystal Palace To Win To Nil

      Reason for tip

Zrinjski have been blanked in three of their last five Conference League games and look set to suffer a similar fate against a Crystal Palace side who may be too strong for the Bosnians, take the Eagles to win to nil.

      Crystal Palace 2-0

      Reason for tip

Only one of Zrinjski’s last seven games have seen both teams score and this looks set to be another to follow suit. Crystal Palace are fancied to edge a 2-0 win to take back to Selhurst Park for the second leg.

Zrinjski Mostar vs Crystal Palace Predictions

      • Zrinjski have failed to score in three of their last five Conference League games
      • The hosts lost three of their six league phase games without scoring
      • Crystal Palace won two of their three away games in the league phase

      Palace can outclass hosts

Crystal Palace came into this season as favourites to win the Conference League but they must play a knockout play-off after finishing tenth in the league phase.

They visit Bosnian side Zrinjski in the first leg of this clash and should be able to record a comfortable success. The hosts won just two of their six league phase matches, against the eliminated Lincoln Red Imps and Hacken, and found themselves outclassed when facing tougher opposition.

They were beaten 6-0 by Dynamo Kyiv and also lost to nil against Mainz and Rakow. Palace definitely have not been at their best recently but they will not need to be to get the better of these opponents.

Europe should be the focus for Eagles

With the Eagles out of both domestic cups and struggling to make an impact in the Premier League, this competition should be their primary focus and they can show their class against this level of opponent.

The arrival of Jorgen Strand Larsen has given Oliver Glasner’s team a better focal point after the struggles of Jean-Philippe Mateta this season and he could play a major role in this one after netting twice against Burnley last time out.

Palace are fancied to win to nil against a Zrinjski side who could be out of their depth. Palace opened their league phase campaign with a 2-0 away win over Dynamo Kyiv and they could win by the same scoreline here.
