AFC Bournemouth vs Everton Predictions
- Bournemouth have won their last four meetings with Everton.
- Everton’s last win at Bournemouth came in 2016.
- The Toffees have failed to score in their last two match-ups with Bournemouth.
Toffees to be kept under wraps
Bournemouth’s form has taken a hit in recent weeks but we predict that they can get back on track against Everton on Tuesday.
The Cherries were beaten 3-2 at Sunderland on Saturday despite racing into a two-goal lead and Andoni Iraola’s men have now taken just one point from a last possible 12.
However, three of those have come on the road including a 3-1 loss at Manchester City and a 4-0 drubbing at Aston Villa. Things have been more comfortable at home where they have won four and drawn two and they could be hosting Everton at just the right time.
The Toffees were hammered 4-1 at home to Newcastle on Saturday evening, their third loss in six outings.
Last Monday’s shock 1-0 win at Manchester United was quickly forgotten as the Magpies cut loose on Merseyside and Bournemouth look to have a good chance of extending their four-match winning streak over the Blues.
Goals not a problem for Bournemouth
Bournemouth’s form may have hit the skids but they have had no issues scoring goals and we predict a deadly double for the Cherries on Tuesday.
The south-coast side are the joint-fourth highest-scoring side in the Premier League with 21 from their 13 fixtures, and only Aston Villa have stopped them scoring in their last eight outings.
In six of those eight fixtures they have scored at least twice and Everton could be the latest side to succumb to Iraola’s livewire attack.
Toffees’ boss David Moyes prides himself on organisation and solid defence but his side have kept just four clean sheets this term and only one on the road in six outings.
Tyler could raise the roof again
Tyler Adams isn’t the most prolific player in the Bournemouth ranks, but it’s two goals in his last four outings for the American midfielder who is worth an interest to score once again.
Adams scored a long-range wondergoal on Saturday at Sunderland to follow up last month’s consolation strike at Manchester City.
With suspended duo David Brooks and Lewis Cook missing out, Adams should get another chance to shine and he could make the most of his opportunity on Tuesday evening.
