Bologna Double Chance (Win or Draw)

      Reason for tip

Bologna have only lost one of their last six meetings with Inter and have been hard to beat in general of late, suffering defeat in just two of their last 17 games. With Inter likely to be prioritising other competitions, the door is open for the Rossoblu to gain a positive result.

      Bologna 2-1

      Reason for tip

Bologna’s last two victories have been by a 2-1 scoreline and that could bear fruit again on Friday against an Inter team that are yet to draw a match this season, while five of their six defeats have been by a narrow one-goal margin.

      Bologna vs Inter Milan Predictions

      • Bologna have lost just one of their last six meetings with Inter Milan
      • The Rossoblu have suffered only two defeats across their last 17 games
      • Inter have not drawn any of their 22 matches this season

      Rossoblu have previous

Bologna are underdogs heading into this Supercoppa Italiana semi-final in Riyadh, but their recent record against Inter Milan suggests they can at least take the contest to penalties.

The Rossoblu have only lost one of the last six meetings between the two sides and they took four points off Inter in Serie A last season, following up a 2-2 draw at the Giuseppe Meazza in January with April’s 1-0 success on home soil at the Stadio Renato Dall’Ara.

Vincenzo Italiano’s side are in decent form despite Sunday’s narrow loss to Juventus, as that was just their second defeat in 17 matches across all competitions, and they can underline their hard-to-beat reputation in this contest.

      Inter are fallible

Inter moved top of Serie A following their weekend win at Genoa but there is a fallibility to Cristian Chivu’s side, who have lost three of their last seven across all competitions.

It seems to be all or nothing for the Nerazzurri this season, as they are yet to draw any of their 22 matches, winning 16 times and losing on six occasions.

With a Serie A title battle and Champions League progress likely to be the priorities for Inter going forward, they may not go full strength for this clash at the King Saud University Stadium, further opening the door for Bologna to gain a positive result.
