They are now unbeaten in 5 competitive games and have only lost 2 of their last 18 matches, pushing them up into the League 1 playoff positions and putting them just 9 points adrift of the automatic promotion places.

Donny’s only 2 defeats in this period have come away from home, but on Sunday they face the tough task of trying to avoid defeat against Premier League opposition. Their previous FA Cup draws have been relatively kind to them, pitting them against Oldham and Preston North End respectively, but hosting Crystal Palace is another matter entirely.

The visitors might not be one of the top teams in the Premier League, but the difference in quality between the top flight and League 1 is huge. The Eagles drew with West Ham last weekend and are now unbeaten in 4 games, and the last round of the FA Cup saw them eliminate Spurs at Selhurst Park.
