Betis set to keep the ball rolling?

Real Betis have been superb this season, with form of seven wins from twelve outings in La Liga putting them firmly in the race for a Champions League spot.

Manuel Pellegrini’s side head into this derby clash having won each of their last three games in all competitions, keeping a clean sheet on each occasion.

They have also been in terrific touch at home, where Atletico Madrid are the only team to beat them in nine outings, picking up seven wins in the process.

No honeymoon period for Sampaoli

For Sevilla, even a change of manager has barely revived their fortunes, as they travel to Estadio Benito Villamarin on the back of successive defeats.

Jorge Sampaoli saw his side lose 3-1 to Manchester City in the Champions League on Wednesday, and although there is no shame in that, it follows a 1-0 loss at home to Rayo Vallecano in the league.

That means the new manager has won just two of his opening eight games, and they still sit inside the relegation zone thanks to a run of one win in their last seven on the road.
