The Euro 2016 group stages ended with a BOOM on Wednesday night as we landed a 9/1 accumulator on the last four games before the knockout stages get underway!

Our tipsters selected their favourite bet from each of Wednesday’s games whilst taking inspiration from our Euro 2016 match previews.

The acca kicked off at 5pm as Hungary faced Portugal and Iceland played Austria in Group F and it started brightly as there were early goals in both games. Hungary and Portugal was a thriller and after four goals in 17 minutes of the second-half, the outsiders held on for our +2 handicap to win. We had to wait until the 60 minute mark for Austria (who missed a first half penalty) to bring home the both teams to score tip in their game versus Iceland.

On to the 8pm’s where Italy played Ireland in what was a big game for the Irish whilst Belgium played Sweden which would determine if it was to be Zlatan’s last international game before he retires. Our under 2.5 goals tip looked great in the Italy-Ireland game which was 0-0 until the 85th minute when Robbie Brady scored the winner and secured Ireland’s place in the knockout stages as well as our correct score prediction in our Italy vs Republic of Ireland match preview at 7/1! It was a crazy couple of minutes as Nainggolan scored the winner around the same time for Belgium and we were left to sweat out the last five minutes plus stoppage time for the acca to win.
