119/1 Ultimate Bet Builder for France vs England

Before becoming a Sports Journalist for Free Super Tips, Aaron spent three years studying Sports Journalism at the University of Sunderland while taking in the Black Cats' 'glory years' under Martin O'Neill. Now back in Northern Ireland he turns niche stats into predictions for FST, while he's one of the few people on this island who is equally comfortable at Windsor Park and the Aviva.
Thomas Tuchel hasn’t exactly given a ringing endorsement to the third-place game, saying both his England players and the French squad don’t want to be there.
Unfortunately for him, neither side has a choice, and to make matters worse, Kylian Mbappe does have reason to take this clash in Miami seriously.
Ahead of Saturday night’s third-place play-off, I’ve picked out a massive 119/1 fourfold as Les Bleus face off with the Three Lions for the bronze medal.
France vs England Ultimate Bet Builder
Kylian Mbappe to score 2+ goals
Mbappe was overtaken in the Golden Boot race in midweek, thanks to a pair of assists for Lionel Messi. Ahead of the final weekend of World Cup action, the Argentine is on course to claim the award that Mbappe landed in 2022, thanks to a hat-trick in the final.
Tuchel’s comments about this game suggest that England won’t name their full-strength side, so Mbappe could look to put the Golden Boot out of Messi’s reach. A couple of goals would take him clear of Messi as the all-time record scorer at the tournament.
Manu Kone 1+ shot on target (including woodwork)
Kone’s absence in the semi-finals looks like a mistake, and Deschamps brought him on for the second half in place of Adrien Rabiot. He had started four of the previous five matches, recording shots on target against Paraguay and Norway.
The Norway match could be a good barometer for this contest, as the Norwegians completely changed their side while the French took the game more seriously, and ran out 4-1 winners. If the French are to play with a swagger in their final match under Didier Deschamps, then Kone can get in on the action with a shot on target.
Morgan Rogers to be shown a card
Rogers made an impact for England against Argentina, and he’s in line to keep his place, either on the right or as a replacement for Jude Bellingham.
The Aston Villa man has been booked 17 times across his last two Premier League campaigns, and he committed two fouls in each of his two starts at this tournament. Third-place games don’t tend to shy away from cards, so Rogers stands out in that market.
Ezri Konsa to be fouled 2+ times
Rogers’ teammate is set to return to central defence, where he is an expert at drawing fouls. He drew 11 fouls from central defence in England’s first five games, before being moved to right-back against Norway, and then dropped to the bench for the semi-final.
Konsa should return to the starting lineup for this clash with France, and he can continue his stellar record of drawing fouls internationally. In 14 competitive appearances as a centre-half for England, he’s been fouled 31 times, drawing at least two fouls on 11 occasions.
