51/1 Ultimate Bet Builder for Scotland's clash with Haiti

Before becoming a Sports Journalist for Free Super Tips, Aaron spent three years studying Sports Journalism at the University of Sunderland while taking in the Black Cats' 'glory years' under Martin O'Neill. Now back in Northern Ireland he turns niche stats into predictions for FST, while he's one of the few people on this island who is equally comfortable at Windsor Park and the Aviva.

Scotland play their first World Cup fixture of the 21st century in the early hours of Saturday, and it’s a vital one for their hopes of progressing to the next round.

With three eighth-placed finishers progressing to the next round, a comfortable victory over Haiti should see Scotland through to the next round. With Brazil and Morocco up next, dropped points in Boston could end Scotland’s campaign before it’s even begun.

Ahead of their tournament opener, I’ve picked out a fourfold bet builder which you can back at 51/1.

Haiti vs Scotland Ultimate Bet Builder

Scott McTominay to score anytime

Scotland will be pinning their hopes on Napoli star McTominay, and the midfielder has been passed fit to feature after missing training earlier this week.

The former Manchester United man scored his 15th goal for Scotland in their final game ahead of the tournament, despite only scoring his first goal for his nation in 2023.

He has scored in four of his last eight games for club and country, and he’s backed to find the net in Boston.

John McGinn to make an assist

McGinn has 10 assists for his country, and he finished the season in incredible form for Aston Villa. He scored three goals and set up another four across his final eight starts of the campaign.

He created two chances in the win over Bolivia, and he’s good value to make an assist in their opener.

Wilson Isidor 1+ shot on target

Haiti have called in Sunderland striker Wilson Isidor for the tournament, and he’s scored twice in his first four caps for the country.

Scotland conceded three shots on target apiece in their warm-up clashes with Curacao and Bolivia, so Isidor should be able to get an opportunity.

Jean-Ricner Bellegarde to be carded

Bellegarde was booked five times for Wolves in the Premier League last season, and he was cautioned in Haiti’s World Cup qualifying campaign.

He’ll have plenty of work to do in Haiti’s midfield with Scotland expected to force the issue, so back him to be carded to complete this fourfold.
