Roma raced into a 2-0 lead with two goals inside seven minutes towards the end of the first half but that proved to be the end of the scoring in Italy as the Serie A side recorded a 2-1 aggregate victory.
Robert Lewandowski put Barca ahead from the penalty spot in the first half at Old Trafford but Fred and Antony responded as United claimed a 4-3 aggregate win over the Catalan giants, and saw our bet over the line.
10/1 Acca & 9/2 overnight treble wins
We enjoyed further success across the Europa League and Europa Conference League as a 10/1 fourfold accumulator landed.
Roma’s win and both teams to score at Old Trafford were combined with victories for Rennes and Lech.
Rennes saw off Shakhtar Donetsk 1-0 and then triumphed in extra time, while in the Europa Conference League Lech claimed a 1-0 win over Bodo/Glimt to secure their place in the next round.
Our expert tipsters also covered the action in Costa Rica and Mexico last night to pick out a 9/2 treble and a best bet.
We opted for a Municipal Perez Zeledon double chance (win or draw) result and they played out a 1-1 draw with Guadalupe FC, and goals markets provided the other legs as both teams scored in Puntarenas meeting with Sporting San Jose and Toluca won 5-0 at Santos Laguna for an over 2.5 goals selection.
NBA & NHL provide further wins
The NBA returned after the All-Star break and we landed a Point Spread double as Philadelphia 76ers beat a -3.5 handicap in their 110-105 win over Memphis Grizzlies and Dallas Mavericks thrashed San Antonio Spurs 142-116 to beat a -14 handicap.
The LA Lakers -5.5 in the Point Spread provided our NBA best bet win with a 13-point win over Golden State Warriors, while a Money Line win for Vancouver Canucks over St Louis Blues was our NHL best bet and those two selections also provided us with a US Sports Best Bets Double success.
Finally, our NHL Double landed with the New Jersey Devils beating LA Kings and over 6.5 goals being scored in Vegas Golden Knights’ 4-3 win over Calgary Flames.
