Football Betting Tips
Mega Accumulator Tip
Strasbourg are eighth in Ligue 1, five places and five points above Lorient, and have won five of their last seven home games. Lorient have lost nine of their last 11 away matches, remain winless on the road this season, and have scored just twice in seven away games.
Villarreal look a strong bet to continue their excellent away form at struggling Levante. The visitors have won their last three league road trips and sit comfortably inside the top three, while Levante are rock-bottom and have lost five straight home games. Villarreal’s consistency, especially when scoring first, makes them hard to oppose here.
Moreirense haven’t failed to score at home this term, including a 2-1 reverse against Porto. The hosts have lost all their meetings with the top five, while Benfica have won all but one of their away trips, while they’ve seen BTTS land in their previous three.
Stuttgart look the right side away at Werder Bremen. They sit higher in the table, have picked up more points, and their back line is marginally more reliable than Bremen’s leaky defence. Werder have struggled to keep clean sheets both home and away, and Stuttgart’s ability to grind out narrow victories makes them a solid away bet here.
Bologna sit fifth in Serie A, two places above Juventus, and have scored at least twice in eight of 14 league games. They have found the net in ten of their last 11 matches and conceded just four goals in six home games. Juventus have gone six away games without a clean sheet.
Alverca have won two on the spin and should be able to make it three when they face strugglers Arouca. The home side have lost five on the bounce and have shipped 18 goals in that spell. Their defensive issues spell trouble once again.
Overnight Best Bet Tip
Newcastle Jets have lost five of their first seven league games, and they’ve suffered two defeats on their travels already. They head to a Wellington side who have picked up home wins over Adelaide United and Brisbane Roar, so back the hosts to secure all three points.
Match Goals Accumulator Tip
Over 3.5 goals has landed in each of Go Ahead Eagles’ last three Eredivisie games, while 62% of their trips this term have featured four goals or more. Twente have already won and lost 3-2 at home this term, so back them to be involved in another thriller.
After a difficult start, Dender appear to have found their feet in the top flight. After struggling to find the net, both teams have scored in each of their last eight games. The hosts have scored twice in four straight matches, winning 2-1 in two of their previous three. Club Brugge’s form has fallen apart, so back them to play their part in another high-scoring game for Dender.
Over 3.5 goals looks the standout bet when Bayern Munich host Mainz. Bayern are in devastating attacking form, scoring at least three goals in each of their last three Bundesliga games and regularly producing goal-heavy matches at the Allianz Arena. With Mainz bottom of the table and conceding freely, this has all the makings of another high-scoring Bayern win.
Monaco have lost four of their first seven away trips, conceding 14 times. They head to an in-form Marseille side who have been stellar at their own ground. OM have averaged 3.29 goals per game across an unbeaten start at home, while they won 3-2 in the Champions League midweek.
Premier League Accumulator Tip
Manchester City have won eight of their last ten games after beating Real Madrid 2-1 in midweek and they should be able to extend that run against an injury-hit Crystal Palace side. The Eagles will be without key man Daniel Munoz and that could be critical to their chances.
Tottenham have scored in each of their away games this term, averaging 2.14 goals per match. However, Spurs have been shaky at the back and they’re aiming to keep a third straight clean sheet for the first time under Thomas Frank. Forest have struggled for clean sheets but they have the attacking talent in inflict some damage on Spurs.
Newcastle’s last eight Premier League games have seen both teams score, while BTTS has landed in nine of their last 11 across all competitions. Sunderland have conceded in each of their last seven, but they’ve struck 14 goals across their first seven home games.
Aston Villa have won eight straight games, while they’ve won 14 of their last 16 matches. West Ham have suffered five defeats in seven home games this term, while they’ve lost all of their encounters with the top five.
Manchester City are the only visiting team to have won at Brentford this season and it is difficult to see Leeds getting something from their trip to London as the Whites have struggled on the road.
Both Teams to Score Accumulator Tip
Tottenham have scored in each of their away games this term, averaging 2.14 goals per match. However, Spurs have been shaky at the back and they’re aiming to keep a third straight clean sheet for the first time under Thomas Frank. Forest have struggled for clean sheets but they have the attacking talent in inflict some damage on Spurs.
Newcastle’s last eight Premier League games have seen both teams score, while BTTS has landed in nine of their last 11 across all competitions. Sunderland have conceded in each of their last seven, but they’ve struck 14 goals across their first seven home games.
Famalicao’s success this season has been built on a solid defence, but they have started to crumble recently, conceding five goals in their last three. Estoril, meanwhile, have shipped 22 in 13 games and backing both teams to score, which landed in this pair’s recent cup clash, looks the best bet.
Both sides have been involved in frequent BTTS games. Both teams have scored in Benfica’s last three league matches and in seven of Moreirense’s last nine. Moreirense have scored in all six home games this season, while both teams netted in five of the last seven meetings.
Bet to Net Treble Tip
Jeremy Doku already has three goals this season and he was in fine form in Manchester City’s win over Real Madrid in midweek. Up against Crystal Palace’s Nathaniel Clyne the City winger should have plenty of success and is fancied to score.
Watkins has 1.8 xG across his last two Premier League appearances, suggesting his side are getting him far better service in the final third. West Ham have been easily exposed this term, so Watkins is an appealing anytime scorer option.
Igor Thiago has stepped up to the plate after Bryan Mbeumo and Yoane Wissa left Brentford and the Brazilian poses a big threat to the Leeds defence.
Experts' Accumulator Tip
James: Aberdeen are on a six-game unbeaten run in the league, winning four and drawing two. Kilmarnock are in the midst of a nine-match streak without a victory – last tasting success at the beginning of October.
Alex: Lorient have the worst away record in Ligue 1 with a meagre two points collected from a possible 21. 15 of Strasbourg’s 22 points this season have been won on home soil, and they head into this tie having won three of their last four home games in all competitions.
Manchester City are the only visiting team to have won at Brentford this season and it is difficult to see Leeds getting something from their trip to London as the Whites have struggled on the road.
Aaron: Moreirense haven’t failed to score at home this term, including a 2-1 reverse against Porto. The hosts have lost all their meetings with the top five, while Benfica have won all but one of their away trips, while they’ve seen BTTS land in their previous three.
Aaron A: Marseille have won five and drawn two of their seven home games in Ligue 1, while Monaco have lost four of their last five matches in Ligue 1 and, having suffered defeats in their last two road outings at Rennes and Brest.
Joe: Real should be too strong for an Alaves side who have lost three of their last four in the league and have only scored 13 times in 15 league games. Real Madrid have won the last seven meetings between these two teams and they should be able to get back on track by extending that run in this one.
Sunderland vs Newcastle Bet Builder Tip
Dan Ballard to score anytime
Ballard has delivered on the big occasion already for Sunderland, sending them to the play-off final last term. He netted in their Premier League opener and grabbed the opener in their home meeting with league leaders Arsenal.
Nordi Mukiele to be carded
Mukiele was booked four times for Leverkusen in limited minutes last term, and he’s already been cautioned twice for Sunderland this season. The defender faces the in-form Anthony Gordon, so back the right-back to pick up a booking.
Correct Score Double Tip
Celtic should claim the trophy inside 90 minutes against a St Mirren side that have lost 13 of their last 15 meetings with the Bhoys, but Celtic have only kept one clean sheet in their last five games and may concede to St Mirren, who have scored in their last three outings.
Brentford have beaten Newcastle, Manchester United and Burnley 3-1 at home this season and this game could end in a similar manner with Leeds making little impact on the road so far this term.
Both Teams to Score & Win Double Tip
Manchester City are the only visiting team to have won at Brentford this season and it is difficult to see Leeds getting something from their trip to London as the Whites have lost six of their seven trips. However, Brentford have conceded in four of their five home wins, while BTTS has landed in Leeds’ previous five.
Moreirense haven’t failed to score at home this term, including a 2-1 reverse against Porto. The hosts have lost all their meetings with the top five, while Benfica have won all but one of their away trips, while they’ve seen BTTS land in their previous three.
Bet of the Day Tip
Both sides have been involved in frequent BTTS games. Both teams have scored in Benfica’s last three league matches and in seven of Moreirense’s last nine. Moreirense have scored in all six home games this season, while both teams netted in five of the last seven meetings.
Evening Accumulator Tip
Bologna sit fifth in Serie A, two places above Juventus, and have scored at least twice in eight of 14 league games. They have found the net in ten of their last 11 matches and conceded just four goals in six home games. Juventus have gone six away games without a clean sheet.
Marseille look the strongest bet when they host Monaco at the Stade Vélodrome. Roberto De Zerbi’s side are ruthless going forward, scoring more Ligue 1 goals than anyone else this season and averaging over three per game at home. Monaco arrive out of form, with defensive issues that Marseille are well equipped to exploit.
Real Madrid may have only won two of their last eight games but they should be able to get back on track against a goalshy Alaves team. Los Blancos have won 19 of the last 21 meetings between this pair.
Alverca have won two on the spin and should be able to make it three when they face strugglers Arouca. The home side have lost five on the bounce and have shipped 18 goals in that spell. Their defensive issues spell trouble once again.
