Champions League matchday six proved a magic one for Free Super Tips as we landed two big winners before continuing our excellent form across the pond.
Let’s take a look at how a big night unfolded for FST!
Three marksman land 25/1 Bet to Net treble
- Federico Valverde to score (Real Madrid 5 – 1 Celtic)
- Kylian Mbappe to score (Juventus 1 – 2 PSG)
- Riyad Mahrez to score (Man City 3 – 1 Sevilla)
The 17:45 kick-off in Madrid saw our biggest-priced selection in action as Federico Valverde looked to continue his fantastic goalscoring record against underdogs Celtic.
Things looks good for Real Madrid from the off as Luka Modric opened the scoring inside ten minutes but we were made to wait until the 71st minute before Valverde rounded off a big Los Blancos win with a rocket from just outside the area.
An hour later and our second selection was in as Kylian Mbappe opened the scoring in Turin. That left us sweating over Riyad Mahrez, and it certainly was a sweat. The Algerian eventually found the back of the net in the 83rd minute with a well-placed strike to seal Manchester City’s win at the Etihad and land us a huge winner!
19/1 BTTS & Win treble and BOTD run continues
- Real Madrid to win & BTTS (vs Celtic)
- PSG to win & BTTS (at Juventus)
- Man City to win & BTTS (vs Sevilla)
It was the same three fixtures delivering the goods for our Both Teams to Score & Win treble, too, with Jota’s 84th minute consolation at the Bernabeu keeping the dream alive for the two later kick-offs.
Rafa Mir’s first-half opener at the Etihad certainly wasn’t who we expected to score the first goal but Manchester City rallied in the second half and Julian Alvarez netted the eventual winner 17 minutes from time after youngster Rico Lewis equalised.
Things went a little smoother in Turin, where Kylian Mbappe’s early opener was cancelled out by Leonardo Bonucci in the first half, leaving us an entire half to await a PSG winner against the depleted Juventus. Nuno Mendes came up trumps with a 69th minute winner and landed us another big win!
That Mendes goal also saw our Bet of the Day streak continue, meaning we have now landed four in a row!
