Youssef Chermiti to score anytime
Chermiti helped Rangers race into a two-goal lead last weekend, as he struck twice within the first 26 minutes to give the Gers their half-time lead. The striker also struck twice in their 3-1 victory at Celtic back in January, while he scored a hat-trick in February’s 4-2 win over Hearts.
With five goals in his last two outings at Ibrox, Chermiti is in fantastic form, and he’s also proven himself to be the man for the big occasion.
Both teams to score
Five of the previous six Old Firm clashes have finished with both teams scoring, and neither side has looked all that secure defensively of late. Rangers are without a clean sheet in their previous five, while they’ve conceded at least twice in three straight games. Celtic’s leaky defensive record on the road continued in Wednesday’s 2-1 win at Aberdeen, with BTTS now landing in six of their last seven games.
Kieran Tierney 1+ shot on target
Tierney has scored in back-to-back games for Celtic, including the 2-2 draw at Ibrox last weekend. He was even more impressive in the win at Aberdeen, as he had five shots from left-back, with two on target.
Tierney has been able to stay fit and put a run of games together, and he’s in fantastic form of late. He’s either scored or assisted in seven of his last eight starts for the Bhoys, while he has recorded a shot on target in each of the three Premiership clashes between the pair this season.
John Souttar to be carded
Souttar has been cautioned on 12 occasions for Rangers across all competitions this season, and the defender picked up the latest of those in last weekend’s 2-2 draw.
Souttar was also cautioned in the League Cup encounter back in November, while he’s been carded on six occasions at Ibrox this season. Souttar has five career yellows against the Bhoys, and he’s good value for another.
