Poachers, goal-getters, hitmen, foxes in boxes or marksmen – the alias may vary from team to team, though the job invariably remains the same. Get them the ball and they will win the game.

Every team competing across Europe’s innumerable domestic leagues have players capable of turning the tide in their favour at any given moment.

Those same match-defining players routinely rank near the top of the list in the bookmakers’ always popular Anytime Goalscorer markets.

To help you delve into those markets as a more informed bettor, we will compile a weekly, updated list of the players that have a cracking chance of getting on the scoresheet in the latest fixtures across Europe’s “Big 5” leagues.

Check out this week’s Premier League, La Liga, Serie A, Bundesliga and Ligue 1 anytime goalscorer tips below:

Sergio Aguero – 1/2 (MAN CITY vs Watford) – Saturday 9th

Sergio Aguero Manchester City

Ok, we’ll admit this isn’t the most creative inclusion for any Anytime Goalscorer selection and it might seem like a no-brainer to back Sergio Aguero to score for City in a fixture they are expected to coast this weekend, however, at 1/2 the Argentine is priced incredibly generously by bet365 to make his mark against Watford.

With the pressure to secure results starting to intensify, City have been imperious – winning 16 of their last 17 matches in all competitions.

Sergio Aguero has been central to City’s success and the Argentinean international is currently in the midst of a sensational goal-getting purple patch.

The 30-year old has scored 11 times in his last 10 games for City, and having missed the Citizens 2-1 victory at Vicarage Road earlier in the season, we’re backing Aguero to make up for lost time against the Hornets on Saturday.

Stat: Man City striker Sergio Aguero has scored 10 goals in six appearances against Watford in all competitions, including netting two hat-tricks against the Hornets.

Alvaro Morata – 6/4 (ATLETICO MADRID vs Leganes) – Saturday 9th

It took a while, but Spanish centre-forward and former Premier League flop Alvaro Morata seems to have finally rediscovered his confidence and goal scoring touch.

Rescued from his Chelsea nightmare by Diego Simeone, Morata went 4 games for Atletico before finally breaking his duck against Villarreal in late January. The 26-year old subsequently bagged 2 more against Real Sociedad on Sunday to take his haul to 3 goals in 2 appearances.

With Antoine Griezmann likely to be wrapped in cotton wool ahead of Atletico’s Champions League tussle with Juventus next week, Morata should feature again from the start on Saturday against Leganes.

Morata’s new-found self-belief should help to sharpen his predatory instincts and we think he looks a fantastic bet at 6/4 with bet365 to register again against a Leganes side that has won just twice away from home all season.

Check out our comprehensive Atletico Madrid vs Leganes match preview, predictions and betting tips here.

Stat: Álvaro Morata has been involved in Atletico Madrid‘s last four LaLiga goals (three goals and one assist).

Thomas Muller – 1/1 (BAYERN MUNICH vs Wolfsburg) – Saturday 9th

Bayern Munich predictions, betting tips and match preview

Having started as a substitute for 4 Bundesliga matches in a row, Thomas Muller was restored to Bayern Munich’s starting XI against Borussia Monchengladbach by Nico Kovac last weekend, and the highly decorated German international made an immediate impact.

Muller scored Bayern’s second goal of the game after just 11 minutes to help the champions to a resounding 5-1 win in Gladbach.

The 29-year old is almost certain to keep his place in Bayern’s team after his devastating comeback performance, and Muller will back himself to score against a Wolfsburg side that he has netted 3 times against in Bayern’s last 5 meetings with Die Wölfe at the Allianz Arena.

We think Muller is worth backing too and he’s available at evens to score anytime against Wolfsburg again with bet365 this weekend.

Make sure to check out our Bayern Munich vs Wolfsburg match preview to read our betting tips and predictions for the game.

Stat: Bayern München haven’t lost any of the 21 Bundesliga matches at home against VfL Wolfsburg (W19 D2). Against no other team have FCB played so many BL home matches without losing a single game.

Krzysztof Piątek – 4/5 (Chievo vs AC MILAN) – Saturday 9th

Things could hardly have gone better for Polish striker Krzysztof Piątek since the 23-year old made the €35m switch from Genoa to AC Milan during the January Transfer Window.

Piątek’s reputation has shot through the roof after a string of wonderful goalscoring performances for the Rossoneri over the past 7 weeks.

In total, Piątek smashed home 7 goals in his first 8 starts for his new employers, announcing himself as one of Serie A’s most lethal finishers in the process.

On Saturday, Piątek will lead the line against a Chievo side that has won only 1 of their last 24 games in all competitions.

Milan will expect to leave the Stadio Marc’Antonio Bentegodi with all 3 points this weekend, and we’re tipping Piątek to fire them to victory again. Piątek is priced at 4/5 by bet365 to register anytime.

Stat: Milan have won each of their last five Serie A games against Chievo, scoring at least three goals each time, but have never kept a clean sheet either.

Remi Oudin – 3/1 (Dijon vs Reims) – Saturday 9th

Ligue 1 new boys Reims have been one of French football’s biggest surprise packages this season. The impact Reims have made since their promotion from Ligue 2 last summer has been remarkable, and David Guion’s men sit in a lofty 6th position of 27 games.

Amazingly, Reims currently hold an 11-match unbeaten run in Ligue 1 and 22-year old attacker Remi Oudin’s goals have been fuelling their drive for points and European competitions qualification.

Oudin has scored 8 Ligue 1 goals this season, though 5 of those were scored since the turn of the year. More recently, the Remis academy product who plays predominantly from the right has hit the net 4 times in his last 4 appearances.

On Saturday, Reims and Oudin face a Dijon side that has lost 6 games on the spin. Oudin is in red-hot form and he is priced brilliantly at 3/1 to extend his recent goal-getting streak this week.

Stat: Reims are unbeaten in their last six away games in Ligue 1 (W2 D4). They’ve not had a longer run in the top-flight since May-December 1959 (13).
