Joao Pedro scored 20 goals across all competitions last season, earning a new contract just 12 months after signing for Chelsea. The Brazilian looks to have nailed down the number nine role for the Blues, and his preseason form has been encouraging.

Cuenca was booked in six of his 15 league appearances for Fulham last season, while he left La Liga with 14 cautions across spells with Getafe and Villarreal.
The defender finished last term with seven bookings across his last 12 starts, and Chelsea’s new-look attack should cause the Cottagers’ defence some problems.
