Chelsea will need to offer more than they did in their listless 1-0 loss at Arsenal in the Carabao Cup in early February to give the league leaders any kind of scare.

Viktor Gyokeres to score anytime

Gyokeres has made impressive strides for Arsenal in 2026, starting with a strike at Chelsea in the semi-finals of the Carabao Cup. The Swedish forward has now netted eight times in this calendar year, including a brace against Tottenham last weekend.

The Gunners’ switch to a 4-2-3-1, combined with their more settled team selection, look to be helping Gyokeres hit the heights he showed with Sporting Lisbon. He scored twice against Sunderland in Arsenal’s last home league game, so he stands out in the goalscorer betting.

Enzo Fernandez 1+ shot on target

Former Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca tended to use Enzo Fernandez in his midfield two, allowing the Argentine to push forward from a deeper position to join the attack. However, Liam Rosenior has given him an even more important role in the Chelsea side, pushing Cole Palmer wide to play Fernandez as a number 10.

Only Joao Pedro has more goals for Chelsea across all competitions than Fernandez, while the Argentine leads the side in shots on target this term.

Fernandez had recorded a shot on target in six consecutive starts before last weekend’s clash with Burnley. He has also managed a shot on target in all three meetings with Arsenal this season.

Pedro Neto to be carded

Neto isn’t usually a go-to man in the card markets, but the winger seems to have it in for Arsenal. Since moving to Stamford Bridge, he’s faced the Gunners on four occasions. He’s been booked in three of those four games, including their 3-2 home defeat back in January.

Neto has four cautions across all competitions this season, including one in the Blues’ recent FA Cup win at Hull. The Portuguese does a lot of tracking back from left-wing, which often sees him matching up with Bukayo Saka. The absence of Marcu Cucurella – another who tends to get booked against Arsenal – should leave Neto with extra work to do at the Emirates.

David Raya to make 3+ saves

Arsenal are favourites for this clash, but the Gunners will likely have work to do at the back as well. Defensive standards have slipped slightly for the Gunners in recent weeks, with David Raya making four saves in the clash with Tottenham last weekend.

Raya made three saves in the visit to Stamford Bridge in November, while Kepa Arrizabalaga was forced into five stops across the two EFL Cup meetings. Since Liam Rozenior took charge, Chelsea have seen three or more saves made by opposition keepers in five of their seven Premier League games, so back Raya to make a few saves once again.
