Borussia Dortmund came within a whisker of denying Bayern Munich an 11th straight Bundesliga title but fell short on goal difference last term but may struggle to match that this year after losing star midfielder Jude Bellingham to Real Madrid.
The defending champions have strengthened further and are the clear favourites to win the league title yet again, so our tipster has focused on other markets for some better value options.

Bundesliga 2023/24 outright predictions
RB Leipzig to win the Bundesliga (without Bayern) at 5/2
After the scare they had on their way to an 11th straight Bundesliga title last season, Bayern Munich are taking no risks this summer.
The Bavarian giants pulled their old trick of pinching players from their nearest rivals once again. Raphael Guerreiro joined from Borussia Dortmund, while Konrad Laimer moved from third-placed RB Leipzig.
Thomas Tuchel’s side also added Kim Min-jae, the rock at the heart of Napoli’s Serie A-winning defence. With ambitions to add Harry Kane too, it’s hard to see who stops them from winning a 12th successive German crown.
The standout betting action is found in the race behind Bayern, where Dortmund are weakened after Jude Bellingham’s move to Real Madrid.
Leipzig have also lost key players, with Christopher Nkunku, Dominik Szoboszlai and Josko Gvardiol all snapped up by Premier League sides.
However, the Red Bulls have been quick to replace them. They’ve made a string of good signings and look to have more on the way, with Benjamin Sesko a standout.
Sesko top goalscorer each-way at 12/1
The Slovenian forward joins from Red Bull Salzburg, where he scored 16 goals in 30 games last season. That tally matched the leading scorers from the last Bundesliga campaign, Nkunku and Werder Bremen’s Niclas Fullkrug.
Sesko will have the creative talent behind him to match his impact in the Austrian Bundesliga. While Harry Kane is likely to blow everyone out of the water should he arrive, Sesko is a great each-way option for the golden boot at 12/1.
Leipzig’s impressive business should see them kick on this season, especially with Dortmund seemingly taking a step back. The champions should surge clear of the chasing pack, so look to Leipzig at 5/2 in the without-Bayern market.
Bayer Leverkusen to finish in the top 4 at 5/6
Finally, Xabi Alonso should find more success in his first full campaign at Bayer Leverkusen. They had the fourth-best record in the league after his arrival in October and their summer signings have added more depth.
Moussa Diaby’s move to Aston Villa is a blow, but Alonso looks like a bright managerial talent and he can keep Bayer on track. They’re a good option at 5/6 for a top-four finish.
