The glitz and the glamour of the Champions League returns to stadiums and screens this week, with a full programme of Group Stage fixtures to enjoy over what promises to be two evenings of high-octane action on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Today we’re focusing on Wednesday’s games, and we’ve compiled a selection of prime candidates that we think are well worth considering in the anytime goalscorer markets.

Check out our UCL anytime goalscorer tips below:

Robert Lewandowski two or more goals (BAYERN MUNICH vs Olympiakos)

Bayern Munich enter the post-Nico Kovac era this week after the unpopular former Croatian international was removed from office at the Allianz Arena, and the Bavarians have a wonderful opportunity to start the latest chapter of their history in a positive fashion when they host Olympiakos in a very winnable looking Group B match on Wednesday.

Talismanic centre-forward Robert Lewandowski scored the last Bayern Munich goal of Nico Kovac’s reign at the weekend, bringing his total to an incredible 21 for the season in all competitions, and we think the prolific Polish international can hit the ground running in the first fixture of Bayern’s freshest cycle this week.

Lewandowski scored in each of Bayern’s first three Group B fixtures, and registered twice in each of his last two Champions League appearances against Tottenham Hotspur and Olympiakos respectively.

In their detailed betting tips for Bayen Munich’s meeting with Olympiakos, our analysts have tipped Die Roten to rack up a meaty score against the Greeks, and Lewandowski will be ready to fill his boots again.

Raheem Sterling (Atlanta vs MANCHESTER CITY)

Raheem Sterling has been in devastating form for Manchester City this season, and winger has been equally effective for the Citizens both domestically and on the continent, hitting 13 goals in all competitions since August.

This week, Group C table toppers City renew acquaintances with an Atalanta side that they blitzed 5-1 at the Etihad on October 22nd – and that evening, Raheem Sterling ran riot against the Italian outfit.

Sterling scored a stunning hattrick and laid on an assist to help dismantle the Serie A representatives, and buoyed by that relent electric individual performance, we’re backing the England international to make his goal-scoring mark against La Dea again.

Paulo Dybala (Lokomotiv Moscow vs JUVENTUS)

Paulo Dybala Juventus

Paulo Dybala was Juventus’ match-winner when they came from behind to topple Lokomotiv Moscow in Turin last month, and having scored twice against the them last time out, the Argentine attacker will be confident that he can repeat the trick in the Russian capital on Wednesday.

While Dybala’s domestic prowess in front of goal tends to be a little underwhelming, the 25-year old often saves his best work for the Champions League.

Last season, Dybala scored five goals in six UCL starts for the Old Lady, and his return of two goals from a single start this term suggests he is ready to carry his continental scoring streak in a fresh campaign.

Lokomotiv Moscow have kept only one clean sheet in nine matches since they returned to the Champions League Group Stage for the first time in 13 years last season, and we’re tipping Dybala to find gaps to exploit in the Russians’ porous defence on Wednesday.

Mislav Orsic (DINAMO ZAGREB vs Shakhtar Donetsk)

Croatian giants Dinamo Zagreb and Ukrainian behemoths Shakhtar Donetsk were involved in a pulsating end-to-end 2-2 draw in their reverse Group C fixture between the clubs last month, and their rematch this week promises to be just as thrilling.

Our Champions League experts have tipped Dinamo Zagreb to edge out Shakhtar Donetsk on this occasion however, and we’re backing Mislav Orsic to help steer his team to glory.

The versatile 26-year old registered from the spot for Dinamo in the Ukraine in October’s 2-2 draw, and Orsic hit a wonderful hattrick against Atalanta in Zagreb’s superb 4-0 win over Atalanta on match day one.

Orsic has already shown a real affinity for the competition so far, and we think he is priced generously to get on the Champions League scoresheet again this week.

Kylian Mbappe (PSG vs Club Brugge)

French wonderkid Kylian Mbappe has exploded back into action after his injury lay-off, smashing home an eye-watering seven goals in four matches since his return to the PSG team last month.

Mbappe plundered three of those seven goals in one Champions League sitting for PSG when the Parisians hammered Club Brugge 5-0 in Belgium last month, and the 20-year old will be itching to face a defence he breached so easily again this week.

In their match preview for the game, our tipsters have backed Paris St. Germain to make light work of Club Brugge again, and we’re backing Mbappe make another goal-scoring impact against the Belgians.
