There are some huge fixtures in the Champions League on Wednesday and we’ve put together a 204/1 player props accumulator ahead of the midweek action.

Liverpool and AC Milan meet in the competition for the first time since the 2007 final, with the Italian giants back in Europe’s top tier competition for the first time since the 2013-14 campaign.

Real Madrid, the most successful club in the history of the competition, open their account with a tricky trip to Italian champions Inter Milan.  Pre-tournament favourites Paris Saint-Germain have what appears to be an easier opening assignment as they travel to Belgium for a meeting with Club Brugge.

We’ve had a look through the fixtures and picked out a few potential anytime goalscorers and one player who could be in line for a booking to come up with one huge 204/1 accumulator, you can see our selections below and don’t forget we’ve got each game covered in our dedicated match predictions section.

Wednesday’s Champions League player props

204/1 goalscorer and to be carded accumulator

Karim Benzema has been in excellent form for Real Madrid this season with five goals in four games, including a hat-trick in Los Blancos’ 5-2 win over Celta Vigo on Sunday.  The Frenchman managed six goals in 10 games in the Champions League last season, and there is a good chance he could get off the mark when the Spanish giants travel to Milan on Wednesday.

Manchester City suffered heartache in the final last season and they will be looking to make a statement in their opener this season when RB Leipzig arrive at the Etihad Stadium.  The Premier League champions have shared the goals around this season after failing to sign a like-for-like replacement for Sergio Aguero, and we feel Ilkay Gundogan is a contender for an anytime effort against Leipzig.  The Germany international tends to enjoy playing against Bundesliga teams in Europe. Gundogan scored against Borussia Monchengladbach last season and managed an assist against former team Borussia Dortmund, with both of those coming in the home legs of knockout ties.

Porto could be in for a tough night at Atletico Madrid and this looks a fixture where there may be a few cards dished out.  One man who immediately jumps out here is Porto forward Bruno Costa, who has been booked in three of his last four outings.

PSG have the most formidable front three in the world right now with Lionel Messi, Kylian Mbappe and Neymar in attack.  The trio are, unsurprisingly, all short prices to score so we’ve picked a less obvious opinion from the PSG squad to get among the goals in Bruges. Midfielder Ander Herrera scored twice against Clermont at the weekend but that was no flash in the pan as he was also on target in a 4-2 win at Brest, meaning he has three goals in total in his last three appearances.
