Check Out Why We're Backing This 22/1 Ligue 1 Team Goals Acca This Weekend!

Last week’s Ligue 1 weekend saw a plethora of goals with nine teams scoring at least twice and six of the ten games having both teams score. We’re backing that to continue again this week but we’re taking a slightly different approach by targeting the Over 1.5 Team Goals market.

There are several tasty fixtures coming up in game week 32 and we’ve chosen a selection of teams who we think will score more than 1.5 goals. We’ve also collated them into an acca that you can back at the bottom of the article.

You can find all of our match previews for this weekend’s selection of Ligue 1 matches by clicking here.

Lille vs PSG, 14th of April

Let’s start off strongly with us backing the champions to do the business to win the league on Sunday. They need just one point to win Ligue 1 but Thomas Tuchel’s men will be looking to do this in style as they travel to the Stade Pierre-Mauroy. They face tough opponents in 2nd placed Lille but Paris have scored over 1.5 goals in their last five encounters with les Dogues.

PSG have also been just incredible in attack this season with them averaging 2.7 goals scored over their last 19 matches. Kylian Mbappé has been a pivotal part of this and is currently on a great run of form with nine goals in his last eight games. The 20-year-old was crucial for Monaco in 2016/17, for Paris last year and he will be desperate to score the league winning goal this year. Lille are good opponents but with them conceding four goals in their last three games, including two against 15th placed Nantes, we’re backing the champions to score a few past them.

MONTPELLIER vs Toulouse, 14th of April

Montpellier’s Europe chasing season has slightly fell off the rails as they have dropped down to eighth in the league. However, they are only three points off of a Europa League spot and if they can pick up some solid points over their last seven games then they could make a serious stake for that 5th position.

They are a very good attacking side, it’s just the defensive part of they play which has held them back this season. They have scored two goals in five of their last six games with last week’s match against one of the best defences in the league seeing them fail to score for only the first time since February. They face a Toulouse side who have only kept two clean sheets in their last ten games. They have conceded 15 goals in that time and with them conceding at least two goals in four of their last five away games, we’re backing Montpellier to score a few past them. Montpellier’s two main strikers Gaëtan Laborde and Andy Delort have been fantastic this season and will be looking to add to their tallies against 14th placed Toulouse.

STRASBOURG vs Guingamp, 13th of April

Strasbourg are another good attacking side that we’re backing to net a few goals here. They currently sit 9th but have been extremely impressive under Thierry Laurey with them scoring ten goals in their last five games. Four of these were against Lyon and PSG so with them facing the league’s bottom side Guingamp they should be expecting to pile on the misery.

Nuno Da Costa has hit a purple patch with three goals in his last two games and should be confident ahead of facing the league’s worst away record. Guingamp have conceded 32 goals in their 15 away league games this season so we’re backing Strasbourg to have a field day, especially at home where they are rather solid.

Caen vs ANGERS, 13th of April

Our last selection of the acca is Angers as they travel to face the league’s worst home record. Caen have been awful in front of their own fans with twelve goals conceded in their last six home matches. They currently sit second from bottom in Ligue 1 and we’re backing Angers to capitalise on this very fragile team.

Angers have been great for goals recently with 14 scored in their last seven games. Their last five goals came in their most recent two games against very sturdy opponents in Marseille and Rennes. We think that with Caen’s horrible home record and the hot streak of goals that Angers are on which has seen them score twice in three of their last four away matches, the away side should be able to put a few past them here.
