Now back in Northern Ireland he turns niche stats into predictions for FST, while he's one of the few people on this island who is equally comfortable at Windsor Park and the Aviva.

With England cruising through a pretty straightforward group on their way to the 2022 World Cup it’s not easy to find much value in their fixtures. However, there are markets which offer the chance to side with the Three Lions at evens and above.

I managed to land 4/7, 10/11 and 13/2 tips in my Andorra vs England predictions at the weekend, so I’ve decided to take a look at the best value markets for England fans who are looking to put their money on Gareth Southgate’s side.

Back goals for England

Backing a high-scoring game at Wembley isn’t likely to offer much reward, with bookies pricing up over 2.5 goals at 13/20 ahead of Monday’s clash. However, I went looking for value in our England vs Hungary predictions and my main selection for that game was to back the Three Lions to score at least three goals.

That was available at 11/10 at the time of publishing and it can still be backed at evens in many places. With England scoring at least four goals in three of their four games post-Euro 2020 they’re good value to put Hungary to the sword.

Back England on the handicap

Of course, with the Three Lions backed to rack up the goals you can get behind them in the handicap markets. While their price of 4/9 to win by two or more goals doesn’t really appeal, you might want to consider England -2 at 5/4.

That’s not a bad price when you consider that Southgate’s side won 4-0 in the meeting between these two sides in Hungary last month.

Back a goalscorer

With England in great scoring form there are a few options when it comes to selecting a scorer, although Harry Kane at 8/15 and Tammy Abraham at 20/21 are too short to make the cut here.

That brings us to Raheem Sterling, who is an 11/10 shot to find the net at Wembley. The Man City winger enjoyed a great summer with England and he followed that up by scoring away to Hungary. He’s set to return to the side after sitting out in the visit to Andorra, making him a great option to find the net on Tuesday.
