Ukraine are, quite rightly, huge odds-on favourites ahead of the Eurovision Song Contest Final tonight and while the outright winner market is probably best avoided there are still plenty of opportunities in other betting markets.

The favourites look short at around 1/3 but even if only one in five people vote for Ukraine that should be enough to take the victory, while the UK is a shock 11/8 favourite to win the jury vote.

The UK lead the way in the betting without Ukraine market, too, with Sweden a close second at 15/8. At the other end of the spectrum, Germany are odds-on to finish last.

Eurovision Jury Vote winner – Sweden at 5/1

Like Ukraine in the outright market, the favourite is worth avoiding in the Jury Vote.

Sam Ryder does not have semi-final experience to draw from and his vocals have not always been on point, while Sweden gave a masterclass in the semi-final and Cornella Jakobs oozes star quality.

Eurovision winner (without Ukraine) – Netherlands at 33/1

Should the UK perform below expectations, the podium spots are wide open for outsiders to jump up the rankings and it wouldn’t be a surprise to see big outsiders make a name for themselves.

The Netherlands is one such outsider with potential, with a haunting song performed in Dutch that should please the jurors. If it catches the voters’ ears it has a chance of doing extremely well.

Eurovision last place finishers – Switzerland at 7/2

I think we can all agree it is great to see the UK steering clear of the last-place finishers market but Germany are still up there in the betting and are priced at 10/11 to take the wooden spoon.

Switzerland are worth taking on in this market, though. They have an extremely dull entry and it would be a surprise to see anybody but the Swiss voting for it.
